Though Petenes gained the ability to fight again, he also lost his freedom. The demon that revived him can manipulate his movements on the battlefield like a doll. Unable to protest his fate, Petenes now wishes for death rather than live in the clutches of that monsters. He knew not the importance of free will before it was stolen from him.
