Ravens were strangely attached to Ales to the degree they would gladly risk their lives to spare him from danger. To repay their concern, he was determined to eradicate all threats to their kind, just as humans once attempted to kill him, so no longer would they need to hide within the dark forest. Over time, his body gradually adopted their avian characteristics, and he became the Raven King.
