Meiatti couldn't keep relying on people. She hired a bodyguard and prepared to embark on a journey to take back the jewel that had been stolen from her. "Is a lovely lady like you up for this?" the bodyguard teased. "Can you handle those ruffians? Wouldn't you rather wait quietly at home?" Meiatti ignored him and began walking. Even if the jewel would bring about catastrophe, it was a very important keepsake that she had many fond memories of.
